Martin De Bueger

Martin De Bueger is an experienced physical therapist, who have joined our team at Hands-On Physical Therapy a number of years ago as an locum physical therapist and as of June 2018, he became one of the 3 owner/managers at HOPT.

Martin graduated from Curtin University of Technology with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy in 1988. Since then he has worked in Western Australia, Texas and Hawaii as a Physical Therapist, in both outpatient and inpatient settings. He has done extensive post-graduate coursework and has 30 years of diverse clinical experiences.

His clinical expertise is very diverse, but he has special interest and training in: Manual Therapy -Being Australian trained, he is very experienced & extensively trained in 'Hands-On' techniques, whether for spinal, peripheral or Sport Injuries & Post Surgical Rehabilitation needs- he thus covers a variety of conditions in orthopedics and neurology.

Mulligan, Maitland & McKenzie treatment approaches fully integrated in his assessments and treatments and his last 15 years has been in outpatients in Hawaii where he endeavors to keep up to date with the changes and developments in PT treatment, including applying new research in an evidence based manner.

Marty is an avid windsurfer, surfer, (former) rugby player & - coach with Honolulu Harlequins Rugby club.
