The safety, health and well-being of our patients is always our highest priority.
We at Hands-On Physical Therapy have been working hard to maintain the safest environment for our patients, while continuing to provide excellent care. Physical Therapy has been deemed an essential service and one that is critical to protecting the health and well-being of our community. As such, our clinic remains OPEN. We are complying with all CDC and Department of Health guidelines and directives, using products that are industry standards for controlling viruses, bacteria and other germs. These protocols include:
- Regularly wiping down surfaces, including, but not limited to, treatment tables, chairs, credenzas, doorknobs and handles
- Laundering linens after each use
- Wiping down equipment in the gym
- Practicing exceptional personal hygiene practices including frequent hand washing/santizing between each patient and using hand sanitizer when needed during a patient visit
We will continue practicing these protocols and have added a few additional safeguards in the clinic to meet the new requirements and regulations for social distancing and sanitation:
- We are mandating that each patient wash or sanitize their hands upon entering clinic
- We are taking temperature checks of all staff and patients entering the clinic
- We are practicing social distancing between patients in all of our common spaces, including the waiting room and gym
- Our therapists are wearing masks
- We continue to provide 1:1 treatment sessions in private rooms
- We are able to social distance in the gym area when it is needed. We do not have multiple patients and therapists working out in close proximity
